Federal Reserve Bank of New York
Outreach & Education
School Outreach Initiative

The School Outreach Initiative brings New York Fed educators into the classroom to give accessible and informative presentations on topics such as the roles and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve System, monetary policy, and college financing. It is designed to reach students in schools in the Federal Reserve's Second District that may benefit from resources to teach economic literacy, including Title I high schools and community colleges. The program aims to advance understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve and help increase diversity in the fields of economics and finance.

Visits are free and can be scheduled Monday through Friday during the school year. Only schools in the Federal Reserve's Second District are eligible. Please note that this program is first come, first served, and subject to availability, based on the Bank's discretion.
